Our proprietary technology was developed to reduce false positives and false negatives at scale, even with pain-free oral swabs.
Even for the best available competing RT-PCR tests, it can take 24-72 hours to receive the test results, due to various logistical hurdels faced by Covid testing labs. It means that a carrier may have already be at peak-infectiousness before they even receive the results of the test.
Due to a fully automated testing laboratory on site, Lilium can provide accurate results faster than the competition. The Lilium test is also unique in that it provides the Ct value for the internal control run for each sample, which ensures sample and test integrity. In case of a positive result, the Lilium test report also provide the Ct value for the detected virus.
Lilium has its roots from a Biotech company composed of scientists and robotics engineers. This means that every part of the testing process has been optimized and automated for speed, accuracy and consistency.
This allows us to provide faster and more superior results at a lower cost.
We are the only fully automated large-scale Covid testing lab in Canada. We are one of the few labs in Quebec who have ISO 15189 international certification for our Covid test, and are set up to provide laboratory testing for other Covid testing centers.
We have recently set up our own sample collection center to sell testing directly to the consumer, giving consumers like yourself access to wholesale pricing and direct turn-around of results.
Nobody likes getting anything inserted up their nose! We don’t either. Great news - with our technology it’s not required. We achieve the same accurate results using a more convenient, non-threatening method.
Other labs operate differently and leave more room for error. LILIUM's precise machinery takes over where competing labs still use manual processes handled by lab technicians, which statistically leads to more mistakes nobody can afford.
When you come to LILIUM Diagnostics, you feel that we actually care about you, your family, friends and community, because that’s what we stand for.
This is also the reason why we only charge $99 for the test.
Our testing facility is just 15 minutes away from Montreal downtown with more testing facilities to be open soon around Montreal . Toronto locations are planned to be open in the fall.
Yes, you get an ultra-sensitive PCR swab test, superior to other labs because our robotic technology eliminates human error and reduces the chances of false positives and false negatives.
Yes, we have all required Canadian and Quebec licenses, certifications and accreditations for performing Covid tests. We are also one of the only labs in Quebec that has international ISO 15189 accreditation of our Covid test.
Yes, the test that we perform at LILIUM Diagnostics is accepted for ALL international destinations. Please let us know during check-in at our clinical test center on the day of your appointment if you are traveling to Hawaii, Japan or Hong Kong, so we can send you an additional special document needed to enter these destinations. We are one of the only testing centers in Canada where you can both get this test, and the right type of Certificate for international travel.
The test we perform at Lilium Diagnostics automatically covers all the following categories: PCR, RT-PCR, NAAT, and swab tests.
Yes, absolutely. For samples collected between 7:00 - 10:00 am, results will be available around noon the same day. For samples collected between 12:00 - 3:00 pm, results will be available around 5:00 pm the same day.
No hidden fees: $99 covers everything, including taxes. It covers your test and your worldwide international travel certificate, so if you have your vacation booked, you’ll be good to go.

You are responsible for entering the information requested by the appointment scheduler. Incomplete or inaccurate information could prevent us from providing you with the requested services.
Any error in entering the required information could (1) prevent us from providing you with the service at your choice of location; (2) prevent us from providing you with the service at the time you choose; and (3) lead to an increase or decrease in the cost of the tests.
The final cost will be confirmed at the time of the appointment. We will not be liable for any change in price. The full price confirmed when scheduling the appointment must be paid at the time of the appointment. For technical or medical reasons, we cannot offer appointment scheduling through the Website for all services and all service points. However, services may be scheduled by telephone.
We send you the results of tests you requested so you can share them with the healthcare practitioner. We strongly believe our clients should have as much health-related information as possible so they can manage their health independently. The results you view when you log into the password-protected area of the site are simply data, provided for informational purposes only. We do not give (even implicit) opinions or diagnoses that are or could be based on those results. Only a qualified and authorized healthcare practitioner can interpret your test results taking into consideration your medical data as well as other particular factors of which the practitioner is aware. The benchmarks we provide for certain outcomes are aligned with relevant practice standards. These benchmarks are the reference limits for the results observed in 95% (or 99%, in rare cases) of so-called “normal” patients, who have no disease or condition that could affect the test or analysis which produced the results. In other words, one out of twenty (1/20) so-called “normal” patients will obtain results slightly outside the benchmark. Some test results are strictly qualitative (positive, negative, trace, etc.) and do not have a numerical benchmark. No conclusion whatsoever may be drawn from your position within these benchmarks. Only your treating physician can interpret your position. You are responsible for discussing your results with the practitioner who prescribed the tests and making any decisions you deem appropriate. It is possible to receive false positives or false negatives, which is inherent in all laboratory tests. Your doctor can give you more information about this. For laboratory analyses, after you log into the password-protected area of the Website, the results of the tests you requested are available in different formats: a PDF report and a table in our Results Portal. If there is a discrepancy between the PDF report and the Results Portal in one or more results for the same test done on the same date, the results in the PDF report always take precedence. The values in the PDF report are also the ones that are sent to the healthcare practitioner who prescribed the tests.

Address: Lilium Diagnostics Inc, 275 Boulevard Armand - Frappier, Laval, QC H7V 4A7
Throughout 2020, it became clear that many world leaders did not understand the dynamics of COVID-19. Transmission rates were on the rise, and even well-oiled governments were incapable of containing the devastating virus. The healthcare and international pandemic response systems were not built to address a virus capable of transmission while carriers were still presymptomatic or asymptomatic.
LILIUM Diagnostics Inc. was established in response to this crisis. The founders had seen great success in their own research and development of automated diagnostics prior to the pandemic, and so they turned their attention to developing a rapid testing system for SARS-CoV-2. The goal? To rapidly identify and eliminate the virus.
LILIUM was founded to address the problems of COVID-19. The team had already been exploring using robotics in diagnostics, and they had developed an RT-PCR assay with a unique chemical signature that provides higher than average sensitivity and specificity. The Founder’s previous experience in automated cell therapy and diagnostics helped speed up the processing of test results while also increasing accuracy, consistency, and test volume at a lower price point than alternatives.
Today, the LILIUM testing paradigm presents a unique opportunity to eliminate COVID-19 through large-scale testing. Capable of testing hundreds of thousands of individuals each day and providing rapid results, the LILIUM RT-PCR assay could be rolled out by businesses, governments, schools and other community organizations to halt the spread of COVID.
Instead of mask-wearing and lockdowns, only infected individuals would need to isolate. They would be able to carefully monitor the progress of their infection using the LILIUM app and get back to business as soon as they return to non-infectious levels of the pathogen.
At least 75 cents of all profits will be used towards research and development into new ethical solutions and cures to diseases. This means that by doing your testing with LILIUM, you will contribute towards development of the medical solutions and cures of tomorrow.
